(2007) TRANSLATION | °C-ute survey on MySound website (February 27, 2007)

℃-ute is the youngest unit in Hello! Project, led by Tsunku♂. The members are made up of elementary and middle school students, and are not only cute, but are also artists who can sing and dance. "Sakura Chirari," released in February, is their first major single. Here's a survey unique to the girls, asking them about the girlish love song "Sakura Chirari" and about their promotion to the next grade in April!!

1. How did you feel when you heard “Sakura Chirari” for the first time?
Airi Suzuki: I thought it was a very rhythmical and cute song. I think you can see a different ℃-ute from the previous songs we released.

2. What are the highlights of the song and the music video?
Airi Suzuki: Please listen to the lyrics carefully. They express the cute feelings of girls! The highlight of the PV is the scene where all the members of ℃-ute are in a room in outer space and the scene where they are looking at the cherry petals dancing outside from the window of the spaceship. The dance moves are repeating, so I want everyone to dance along with us.

3. Please tell us about the key points of your costumes this time.
Airi Suzuki: They are all pink! It has cute cherry blossom-like flowers on it, fitting the song title.

4. Tell us what we can hear in the coupling song!
Airi Suzuki: “JUMP” has a completely different tune from “Sakura Chirari”! The lyrics give me a lot of courage, so please check it out!

5. What do you think of “sakura”? What do you remember or feel when you see cherry blossoms?
Airi Suzuki: I can only think of graduation this year. I am so sad to think that I will graduate soon.

6. February 24 and 25 will be your first solo concert.
Airi Suzuki: ℃-ute has done a lot of events in the past, but this is our first concert, so anyway! I want to sweat a lot and have a lot of fun.

7. You will be moving on to the next grade soon. What are your goals and enthusiasm?
Airi Suzuki: I will be a junior high school student! I know there will be a lot of new experiences, but I want to make a lot of friends and enjoy my junior high school life. Especially, I am very interested in English classes, which will start in junior high school, so I want to do my best (^-^)v
